Paper Magazine is really on a quest to #BreakTheInternet
Kim Kardashian recently shot with legendary photographer Jean-Paul Goude for the Winter 2014 cover and editorial for Paper Magazine. 2 covers were shot, one with Kim recreating a champagne balancing act the photographer shot years ago and another with Kim showing us why she is nicknamed “Kimmy Cakes”.
Kim tweeted the pictures to her fans and her husband also gave his seal of approval. She also had this to say after posting the pictures:
As promised, the rest of Kim’s editorial for Paper Magazine has been released and the TV reality star, fashionista, mom of 16-month-old baby North West and wife to Kanye West is seen completely nude.
We not only get to see a few candid shots of the star, but get an inside scoop of what makes Kim tick and stand out in her interview with Paper mag.
The interview, named “No Filter: An Afternoon with Kim Kardashian“, was done by Amanda Fortini who describes Kim’s skin as “the golden color of whiskey, is free of wrinkles, crow’s feet, laugh lines, blemishes, freckles, moles, under-eye circles, scars, errant eyebrow hairs or human flaws of any kind. It’s like she comes with a built-in filter of her own.“
She also talked with Amanda on;
On her new book Selfish and how she organizes her Selfies
The book company edited them, and I was like, ‘Wait a minute! There are like 300 here that you’re not adding!’” she says. I remark that I am surprised she can remember and differentiate among a bunch of near-identical photos of her face. She can, she says; she is organizing them chronologically, dating them by what she wore to specific events. “I know what I wore, what accessories I wore, where I was, who I was with,” she tells me. “I remember everything.” Her mind, it seems, traps the minutiae most of us forget. For her, though, it’s not minutiae; it’s her life, and her life is her career.
On if Kim Kardshain would exist without Social Media
“I don’t think so…” she says, slowly, then reconsiders. “I don’t think social media was that heavy when we started our show, but I think we really evolved with social media.”

***Bonus*** Many artists have created memes poking fun at Kim’s spread, but one artist decided to make a Simpson’s version of the Armenian beauty! Check out the fun pics
Great to see some people celebrate Kim’s decision to pose nude, but it’s also very interesting to see people’s judgmental reactions also.This is my personal opinion on the reality’s star decision to bare it all for her fashion spread.:
This whole Kim K #BreakTheInternet has shown me that there are many people with super closed minds in the world. First off why do we make it seem as though women should be ASHAMED of their bodies or ASHAMED of their sexuality? You were born naked. Jean Paul Goude is a world renowned fashion photographer the man was halfway responsible for Grace Jones success (Who among MANY models posed COMPLETELY NUDE). If you look at the famous works of ARTISTS I’m talking Da Vinci, Picasso, Raphael and the list could go on and on women were frequently painted NAKED. Jean Paul Goude is an artist with film, Kim K is a model and there you have it the man created art. I feel as though women who aren’t a size 0 or 2 are told to cover up, but there are many size 0 and size 2 models who are mothers that pose naked every day and you hear nothing! As soon as Kim K a whole grown woman decides to show her size 8 body all the rage begins to form within people. Give the girl a break and live your lives they way you want to because Kim is surely doing that.
